Murray was called to the bar in 1979 and founded the firm with Dan Gleadle in 2000. They both resigned full partnerships in large firms in order to establish what was a new idea in Vancouver – a dedicated, efficient and aggressive group of professionals intensely focusing only on Employment Law in its many aspects.

For over 15 years, Murray led our team in representing individual clients and major corporations in all levels of tribunal and court, right up to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Having mentored the firm’s leaders in ethical and creative legal strategies, Murray has retired from the firm to focus on work as a corporate director, and remains a close friend of the firm.
